Men mistake friendliness for flirting, and flirting for friendliness

In testing, the overwhelming majority of men categorized literally any casual gesture as sexual in nature. Researchers theorize that since men have sex on their minds already, they naturally attribute the social cues they get to their own frisky thoughts. However, more hilariously/unfortunately, when guys were shown images of women actually trying to seduce them, they mistook those flirtatious gestures for the women just being good-natured pals. Oh, the humanity! So, what is a girl to do if she wants to send a sexy signal? Don’t waste your time with sign language—you have to be verbally direct with men, so talk dirty. Then, and only then, will you be giving him something he can feel.
