Some women find staring uncomfortable – most don’t and feel flattered
Apparently, as much as 36% don’t like guys checking them out. You’ll notice a lot of them are very loud about this dislike on forums, so much so, you’d think they’re representative of the entire female gender. Turns out, they’re about half. What do I do? I let them do all the staring. In fact, they have to initiate it. My attention isn’t a cheap commodity to be given away to random people I’ve never met before, they have to earn it.
The same poll also revealed that men size women up in places like supermarkets, clubs and bars, while women prefer those locations that offer them the strategic advantage, such as a bar or a terrace. Moreover, most men feel “happy” when they see a woman checking them up, while women’s reactions differ: some are flattered by it, 16 percent feel uncomfortable, and 20 percent say being eyed up is a completely embarrassing experience.
